Thank you for visiting our website. We created this site to document our attempts to address a serious safety hazard.
The safety hazard is one oak tree that stands at the bottom of our driveway. Due to the visibility issues created by this tree, it is a safety hazard for motorists traveling on Rt 85 and exiting our driveway. Given its location on town-controlled land, we are required by law to seek proper approval for the removal of this tree. We are simply trying to do the right thing by eliminating a safety hazard at our own expense and replacing it with a new tree in a safe location on our property.
We appreciate all the letters of support from friends and town residents. Out of respect for your privacy, we elected not to include your letters on this site; but, we will continue to send them to the appropriate town officials.
